[ News, Economy / Industry, January 8 2008] Sales of Korean online shopping malls up sharply in November

Sales of Korea’s online shopping malls grew 16.3 percent in November from a year earlier, thanks to an increase in sales of clothing and fashion items, a government report said Tuesday (Jan. 8).

The combined sales of the shopping malls were tallied at a record 1.44 trillion won ($1.53 billion), up from 1.24 trillion won a year earlier, the National Statistical Office (NSO) said in the report.
