The actor Myung Gye-nam, a former head of the Roh Moo-hyun fan club Nosamo, writes of his desire to carry out a terrorist attack on the Chosun Ilbo in a new book. The book, a tribute to the president, was published on Monday. In it, Myung includes a picture where the Chosun Ilbo replaces the World Trade Center in flames after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack. Myung says he uses the composite picture as a wallpaper image for his computer and cell phone and wants to rid the nation of the daily. “I want to become a terrorist,” he writes. “The newspaper is the sole monolithic monster remaining in Korean society. Only a man who challenges the Chosun Ilbo, as President Roh did in 2002, should become president in the upcoming election.”"
