Korea tops Global e-Government survey Korea.net News: "Date: August 08, 2006


The Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs said Monday (Aug. 7) Korea took first place in the sixth annual Global e-Government Rankings conducted by Professor Darrel M. West of the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University.

In the evaluation of 1,782 government websites in 198 countries, Korea's total score was 60.3, leaving second-place Taiwan far behind with 49.8 points. Korea ranked 86th on the same evaluation last year. "
