[The Chosun Ilbo, September 10 2008] Microsoft to Launch New Korean Explorer for Free

The Korean branch of Microsoft on Tuesday said it will launch a Korean version of Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 for free from its homepage ( from Sept. 17. The new version is faster and sports many more functions. For example, if users select a sentence on the screen, the web browser will automatically link them with services like dictionary, map and translator.

It also offers automatic protection from cyber attacks such as phishing, and protection of personal data used on the Internet.
