[Korea.net News, Culture / Events, May 27 2007] BIE officials to visit Seoul for inspections of int'l expo

A delegation from the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) will visit Korea this week to check preparations of the country's 2012 international fair, the organizing committee said Tuesday (May 27).

The delegation, led by BIE president Jean-Pierre Lafon and secretary general Vincente Gonzalez Loscertales, will arrive here on Thursday (May 29), and inspect the country's port city of Yeosu, the venue for the 2012 World Expo.
