Former KBS president Jung Yun-joo (60) is to get his old job back despite resistance from the KBS labor union and opposition parties. The choice has sparked charges that it aims to help the ruling party in the presidential election next year. The KBS board of directors announced on Thursday that Jung won six out of 11 votes, the most among the 13 candidates, adding it will recommend Jung as KBS chief to President Roh Moo-hyun. The decision to reappoint Jung, whose term ended on June 30, comes after four months of fierce wrangling. "
