The world's third-largest mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has joined hands with Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul to set up a graduate program for mobile handset technology. The program is the first of its kind in Korea, and will graduate 40 master's and 12 doctorate students every year. Samsung's head researchers and executive staff will take part in teaching courses. The company will set up another graduate program on mobile communications technology with Yonsei University.
