INSIDE JoongAng Daily: "Korea, France sign deal for film co-productions

October 28, 2006 ㅡ South Korea signed its first-ever film co-production with France yesterday, paving the way for their film industries to advance into each other's markets and enjoy the same status as domestic movies.
Culture and Tourism Minister Kim Myung-gon and his French counterpart Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres inked the Film Co-production Accord in Seoul. The agreement centers on a barrier-removing policy that will recognize films co-produced between the two countries as domestic ones. "
